Sanger Skatepark/BMX Park
An outdoor concrete park installed with fun features in Sanger welcomes every skater of the city and everyone else looking to have a good time. The city of Sanger offers many recreational features like picnic areas, parks, sports fields, and the Sanger skatepark. Riding the skatepark is known as one of the best things to do in Sanger. Much-loved recreational options provided by the City of Sanger attracts families and skaters in the area and even outside. The park is located right next to Wilson Elementary School. This outdoor wide concrete park is a fun and exciting space for the new riders to learn, experienced riders to progress and for everyone to enjoy.
The Sanger skatepark has something for every rider. The more experienced riders are known to provide a helping had to younger riders trying to progress. The skatepark is compact with a concentration of obstacles like quarter pipes, hips, and street stuff. Also, at the Sanger Skatepark you can find rails, a big bowl, and a pyramid to catch some air. The skatepark is kid-friendly, and riders of all levels are welcome.
If you have visited this park before then you have probably seen the skatepark filled with riders on bikes, pro scooters and skateboards. The official Sanger Skatepark Rules do not permit all riding types. The park does not have an attendant on site enforcing rules so all types of riders can be seen here. There has been a large increase in the amount of pro scooters riders in the park over the years.
The City of Sanger does a great job keeping this skatepark well-maintained and clean at all times. You can visit the park at 601 Harrison Avenue. The park features picnic and barbecue areas making it a beautiful way to spend the day in Sanger. All these features were possible thanks to generous donations.
Around $815,000 went in to building this park and loading it with fun things to do in Sanger. Also This project received its primary funds of $375,000 from Roberti-Z’Berg-Harris Grant. Another fund of $250,000 was also granted for this project by the Community Development Block Grant. Also received funds from the California State Parks and Recreation Department.

Sanger Skatepark Rules:
- The sanger skatepark is open to all from 7 am to 9 pm every day.
- Beverages and food items are not allowed inside the skating area.
- No unauthorized items permitted inside.
- Every rider should wear safety gear like helmets, elbow, and knee pads.
- Garbage should be disposed of in trash receptacles.
